Chamber Committees
COMMITTEE OPPORTUNITIES
The majority of the real work of the Chamber of Commerce is accomplished through its Committees. The Membership is the main body, the Board of Directors is the head, and the Committees are the hands, arms, legs and feet that go out into specialized areas of concern and interest and interact with other organizations and agencies in the community.
Without dynamic committee involvement, organizations become stale and stagnant. Dynamics are created when the energy and dedication of creative people work together.
The Chairperson of each committee is a member of the Board of Directors; other members of a committee are welcome from the general Chamber membership. Final, binding actions, or expenditures of Chamber funds, may not be made without approval of the Board of Directors.
