Here are a number of summaries of the final health care package (the Senate’s Christmas Eve bill as modified by the House reconciliation bill). All are good, though presented differently. We are not sending these as legal advice to anyone. We send them as aides to you and your members, since there is very little doubt now that all of these provisions will become law.
Just one example of things your members should know: If they offer dependent coverage, they will have to cover dependent children up to age 26 by October 1 of this year.
