For the 2010 Mayor's Day of Service the Mayor has partnered with LAUSD and will be held at schools throughout the city on March 20, 2010. The School District selected schools that are in need of immediate projects, including our own Polytechnic High School where Tree People will be hosting a Campus Tree Care.

Please join TreePeople’s Pam Gibson as we participate in the Mayor’s Day of Service by taking care of 95 trees around Polytechnic High School in Sun Valley. We hope that many students will come out and join us for this wonderful event.

Directions
From 170 North: Take the Roscoe Blvd exit. Take the Roscoe Blvd. east ramp and merge onto Roscoe Blvd. Look for 12431 Roscoe on the left. Follow the TreePeople signs.
From the 210 West: Merge onto the 210 towards Pasadena. Merge onto CA-134 West. Take the I-5 towards Sacramento. Take the Lankershim Blvd./Tuxford St. exit. Turn slight left to take the Tuxford St. exit. Turn right onto Tuxford St. Tuxford St. becomes Roscoe Blvd. Look for12431 Roscoe Blvd. on the right. Follow the TreePeople signs.
What to bring
Wear comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty and closed-toe shoes. Bring a hat, sunscreen and work gloves if you have them. Please bring a refillable water bottle. Water and snacks will be provided.
