Please join us for a special Holiday Mixer - bring a new unwrapped toy for a chance to win a FREE lunch or dinner for 2 at Sun Valley's own Bob's Big Boy (courtesy of John Koutsoukos & Dimitri Koutsoukos)! Toys will be donated to the pediatric patients of the Sun Valley Health Center and to the L.A.P.D. toy drive.

Due to unforeseen circumstances the November mixer that was scheduled for the 19th of November has been canceled.
Please do note that our next scheduled Mixer will be hosted by the North East Valley Health Corporation on December 10 at 5:30pm we will be holding a Christmas toy drive, so please bring a new unwrapped toy and then enjoy the Christmas spirit with the Sun Valley Area Chamber of Commerce.
On Thursday, September 17 at 5:30 to 7:30 pm the American Legion post #520 - 9026 Sunland Blvd, Sun Valley - is hosting a chamber mixer. We hope to see everyone there!

This week brings us the May mixer hosted by LA By-Products. This Thursday, May 21 - 5:30 to 7:30pm at the John Wells Golf Center (11501 Strathern St. – North Hollywood 91605) is going to be a lot of fun. There will be free driving range balls - so for all the golfers out there don't forget the clubs. Get your practice in for the June 29th Golf Tournament! Even for the non-golfers this mixer will have plenty of entertainment as Mike "Majik" Boyd will be bringing us some soulful music in a free mini-concert. Be sure to bring your appetite as well - as the food is free! There will be a plaque presentation & introduction to our newest members. There will also be a Raffle for some awesome prizes donated by our membership, tickets are 1 for $1, 6 for $5, 15 for $10, and 30 for $20. The flier for the event is attached.

Since 1980 Dimion's Family Restaurant has served the community of Sun Valley. The owners, Mike & Eleni, have been active in the community for years and are virtually famous with the local law enforcement and local political representatives. They have now decided to change their operations and on April 26, 2009 they closed the doors to Dimion's forever. Not to dismay, they will return after a short remodel and will be opening their doors as Bob’s Big Boy. It will be the Only Bob’s Big Boy to have a liquor license, so the bar is not going anywhere. On April 16, 2009 Dimion's hosted their last Sun Valley Chamber mixer ever, and when we get a firm date on the reopening, Bob’s Big Boy will be hosting their first!
